Reina Miyauchi

Honestly, the second I read that Reina's from Naha, Okinawa, something in me just goes "ah, that explains it." She came up through Super Monkey's and has sung and danced with MAX ever since, and there's a certain warmth I imagine in people raised under that island sun and slow ocean air, baked right into how she performs. Born in 1978, she's the kind of artist who's traded raw young energy for something with real depth by now, and I respect that arc a lot. Staying with one group for three decades takes a quiet stubbornness, a willingness to step forward when it counts, and my gut says she's the genuinely good-hearted, grounded type, and I'd happily take that bet.
