Riko Narumi

Riko Narumi started as a child actor and, unusually, kept working as an adult one. Japanese show business is brutal to kids whose selling point was being cute; most quietly vanish at eighteen. She never traded on childishness. The low, level voice and the unsmiling eyes made her read older than she was, and the name still lands.
