My Take

Witwer is a genuine treasure for Star Wars fans because of how completely he has made Darth Maul his own, breathing menace and tragedy into a character that could have stayed a one-note villain, and his Palpatine impression is so uncanny it is almost unsettling. On the live-action side, his run on Being Human showed real range and a brooding intensity. What I appreciate most is that he is a real fan of the material he works on; you can hear the care and obsessive detail in every line read. Add the musicianship on top and he is a quietly versatile performer who deserves more mainstream recognition.
