Sanjay Khan

Sanjay Khan strikes me as one of those durable craftsmen who quietly held up an entire film industry. Born Shah Abbas Ali Khan in Bengaluru, he debuted in the acclaimed Dosti in 1964 and went on to wear nearly every hat available, actor, director, producer, across both Hindi cinema and television. I have a soft spot for self-made veterans like this, the kind who built long careers through persistence rather than flash. Bollywood's glamour gets all the attention now, but figures like Khan are the foundation that glamour was built on, and that earns my respect.
