My Take

What I admire about Sanya Malhotra is that she became a fixture of Hindi cinema not through tabloid noise but through range. From the wrestling sister in Dangal to the action of Jawan and the warmth of Badhaai Ho, she keeps slipping into films that top the box office while never seeming to chase the spotlight. Indian stardom is often measured by sheer celebrity wattage, but I have always preferred performers who let the role do the arguing. To me she reads as a quietly ascending craftsperson, the kind whose best work is probably still ahead of her.
