Sharat Saxena

Sharat Saxena is the kind of actor I find quietly heroic. More than fifty years in the business, 250-plus Hindi films, and a body of work spanning Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil cinema, yet he rarely chased the spotlight. What impresses me is the sheer durability of a career built on supporting roles, the unglamorous craft that holds a story together. An engineering graduate who chose the screen instead, he embodies persistence over flash. In an industry obsessed with stars, I have deep respect for the dependable players who show up, decade after decade, and make everyone around them look better.
