My Take
What I love about Shawn Wayans is the family-comedy machine he is part of. Breaking out on In Living Color, then pairing with brother Marlon for The Wayans Bros. and the Scary Movie franchise, he helped build a brand of broad, irreverent parody that is easy to dismiss and surprisingly hard to pull off.
