Shiori Tamai

Shiori Tamai has the least glamorous job in Momoiro Clover Z, and I think it is the most necessary one. Born in Kanagawa in 1995, a child actor and model before this, she is not the member who shouts loudest or cries hardest; she works as the group's centre of gravity, keeping its shape intact. To my ear the moment her voice lands, everything lines up. Roles like that get written about least and missed most, because pull that person out and the picture falls apart. I am always late to appreciating anyone who has become part of the furniture, and she has held that centre since she was a teenager.
