My Take
Sky Blu is easy to underrate because LMFAO traded in pure party absurdity, but committing that fully to a bit is its own discipline. Party Rock Anthem and Sexy and I Know It were inescapable for a reason, and as a producer and DJ he clearly understood the machinery beneath the silliness. What I appreciate most is the family thread, building the duo with his half-uncle Redfoo, which gives the whole project a warmth under the noise.
