My Take
Sophia Bush could have coasted forever on Brooke Davis, the role a generation grew up with on One Tree Hill, but I find her far more interesting for what came after. Chicago P.D. showed she could carry grit; Good Sam showed she wanted ownership, starring and producing at once; and stepping behind the camera as a director completed the arc. Add graduate journalism studies at USC Annenberg and you get someone who treats fame as a platform rather than a destination. My take: her ambitions point outward, beyond acting itself, and her second act may end up mattering more than her first.
