Spencer Fox

Spencer Fox is, to me, a study in choosing your own path. Known worldwide as the voice of Dash in The Incredibles, he could have coasted on childhood fame indefinitely. Instead he picked up a guitar and helped found an indie rock band, steering toward the music he actually loves. I find that quiet courage admirable; walking away from the easy gravity of name recognition to pursue genuine creative work is harder than it sounds. Rather than letting a famous voice define him, he redefined where he wanted to perform, and I applaud that freedom.
