Stefan Ortega is the kind of goalkeeper who makes you do a double-take — quietly excellent in a way that sneaks up on you. A small-town kid from Hofgeismar in northern Germany, he spent years grinding through the lower tiers of German football before Arminia Bielefeld gave him a real shot, and he made the most of it.
