My Take

Stephen Boyer is an opposite hitter I genuinely love watching, because his attacking is pure firepower. Part of the France side that won gold at the Tokyo Olympics, he plays with a fearless, go-for-broke aggression that suits the opposite position perfectly. Seeing him bring that to the Japanese league with JTEKT Stings has been a treat for fans here. French volleyball is enjoying a golden era, and he is right at the heart of it. What I admire is that he wants the ball in the biggest moments; there is no hiding in his game, and that mentality is exactly what wins titles.
