My Take

Sydney Park strikes me as one of those rare performers who refuses to be boxed in. She came up doing stand-up as a kid, then slid between AMC's The Walking Dead, the Pretty Little Liars universe, and a Netflix horror lead without losing her footing. That range is hard to pull off young, and I respect that she sings, jokes, and plays terror with equal ease. Being born on Halloween and ending up in horror is a fun bit of fate. My real curiosity is which lane she eventually commits to, because a talent this elastic deserves a defining role worth remembering.
