My Take
Victoria Justice is, fittingly, a Hollywood, Florida native who grew up on screen. From Lola on Zoey 101 to Tori on Victorious, she carried a generation of Nickelodeon kids and picked up NAACP and Young Artist honors doing it. What earns my respect is how she leaned on actual craft, acting, singing, dancing, voice work, in an industry that chews up child stars. Plenty of performers sell on charm alone, but a genuine singing voice gives you staying power. I see her as a grounded all-rounder, and I am curious to keep watching how her career matures over the long haul.
