My Take

Vojo Ubiparip, a striker from Novi Sad, Serbia, is exactly the sort of footballer I find myself rooting for. Balkan forwards tend to play with a grit and hunger that you cannot coach, and his journey, ending up scoring for Spartak Subotica, has that earthy, local-club authenticity I love.
