My Take

What grabs me about Kosta Nedeljković is the trajectory: a kid from Smederevo in Serbia, born in late 2005, already shuttling between Aston Villa, RB Leipzig and the senior national team while barely out of his teens. At 184 cm he has the frame, but right-backs live and die on reading the game, not just running it. My hunch is that the next two seasons will tell us whether he is a flashy talent or a genuinely intelligent defender. I find myself rooting for the latter, and I will be watching that decision-making closely.
