Yang Yo-seob

Yang Yo-seob is the kind of vocalist who makes you stop scrolling and just listen. As the main vocal of BEAST — and later Highlight after one of K-pop's messiest company splits — he carried the group's emotional weight on his shoulders for over a decade, and he never made it look like a burden. His voice has this almost unfair combination of raw power and delicate control; he can go from a whisper to a full-belt climax without losing an ounce of warmth. What I respect most is that he stayed loyal to the members when the group restructured under Highlight in 2017, proving his character matches his talent. Solo work, musicals, the guy just quietly stacks his resume without the usual idol fanfare. Genuinely one of the most underrated vocalists in the K-pop generation that made the genre global.
