My Take
Yui Mizuno, known to the world as Yuimetal, fascinates me as one of the faces that pushed Babymetal onto global stages. What I respect most, though, is the dignity of her decision to step back over health concerns at a young age, after a packed journey from child actor to Sakura Gakuin to international fame. Staying signed to Amuse leaves a door cracked open, and I confess I quietly hope she returns to performing someday. Her ability to fuse cuteness with genuine ferocity onstage was singular, and to me she remains one of the more intriguing figures of that whole movement.
