Zac Kao

Zac Kao interests me as someone who refuses a single label. Born in British Hong Kong, educated at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and working as an actor, singer, and radio personality, he is a genuine product of cultures and disciplines colliding. I have a soft spot for performers who insist on multiple stages at once, because that restlessness usually signals a deep love of communicating rather than mere ambition. The radio booth rewards voice and timing; the screen rewards presence; carrying both takes a wide creative range. There is something admirable, even enviable, about that hungry versatility, and I respect anyone bold enough to chase it.
