My Take

What strikes me about Zachary Gordon is how cleanly he handled the trap of early fame. Carrying the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films as Greg Heffley meant being the awkward kid millions saw themselves in, and that kind of relatable comedy is far harder to pull off than it looks. The string of Young Artist nominations was deserved. Rather than burning out in the usual child-star spiral, he quietly pivoted toward voice work and finished high school in Oak Park like a normal kid. I respect that low-drama professionalism, and I'm curious to see where his adult career settles.
