My Take
Okay, I'll be honest, Akari Nibu is the kind of idol who could probably brighten a room just by walking into it. She spent 2017 to 2024 in Hinatazaka46, the Tochigi-born kid with that wide-open, sunbeam smile that feels almost unfair, because you catch yourself grinning right along with her before you even decide to. What I love is that even as an idol she didn't just park herself in one lane. She talks on the radio, pops up on YouTube, and has been stretching into acting too, quietly widening her range while everyone's busy being charmed by the cheerfulness. And that's the thing that gets me. She reads as soft and a little dreamy on the surface, but there's clearly some steel underneath, the type who shows up and actually delivers. I just want her to keep beaming like that everywhere she goes.
