Ada Choi

Ada Choi is, for me, a quiet emblem of Hong Kong television's golden age. Emerging through the pageant-to-screen pipeline, she built real credibility in films before becoming a TVB mainstay with dramas like Healing Hands and Where the Legend Begins. What I value in her is consistency rather than spectacle; she stayed a leading presence for years without chasing controversy. Those classic TVB serials traveled far beyond Hong Kong, and performers like Choi gave them their emotional backbone. Longevity and audience affection are their own kind of award, and she has earned both.
