Cica Zhou

Cica Zhou is interesting to me partly because of her path. A Chinese actress and model born in Guizhou in 1982, she's noted as being of Sui ethnicity, which is a detail I find worth pausing on given how rarely that's highlighted. At 175 cm, the modeling background makes sense. She trained at Beijing Newface Model School and from 2009 also worked in Japan under the name Cica, and the cross-cultural angle, a regional ethnic minority breaking into mainstream entertainment, is the part that genuinely intrigues me.
