My Take
Akiko Higashimura works at a speed that ought to produce sloppy comics, and instead produces range. Princess Jellyfish is about awkward otaku women, Mama wa Tenparist is about toddler chaos, Yukibana no Tora is a Sengoku epic. Then there is Kakukaku Shikajika, her memoir about her art teacher, which starts as a joke and does not end as one.
