My Take

I have a soft spot for coaches who earned their stripes on the floor first, and Petrovic fits the mold perfectly. A 194 cm Croatian from Sibenik who played before he led, he is now steering Brazil's national team far from home. That detail alone wins me over: building trust across language and culture, on another continent, takes a rare kind of authority. The nickname Aco suggests a man who is both competitor and human being, and that blend is exactly what I look for in a great bench boss. I would happily watch his teams play.
