My Take
What draws me to Ohanian is that he understood the web's social wiring early and bet on it twice. Co-founding Reddit with his college roommate right after graduating from the University of Virginia gave the internet one of its loudest, weirdest public squares, and his later work at Initialized Capital shows the same instinct turned toward backing other founders. I admire builders who, once they have made it, recycle their luck into the next generation rather than coasting. He strikes me as a connector by temperament, and connectors tend to leave a far longer shadow than their own headlines suggest.
