My Take

Alice Eve reads like a thoroughbred on paper: born in Hammersmith to two actor parents and educated at St Catherine's College, Oxford. She broke through as the lead in She's Out of My League, but what genuinely interests me is how she works across both British and American screens and stage, and has stepped into directing too. She never seems to trade on her pedigree, instead earning her footing through actual work. Polished, intelligent performers are often underestimated, yet she has the substance to back it up. Her move behind the camera is the part of her career I most want to follow.
