Kim Poirier

What draws me to Kim Poirier is the refusal to be pinned down. Coming out of Drummondville in francophone Quebec and then juggling acting, hosting, and singing takes a particular kind of restless ambition that I respect. Her credits run from Dawn of the Dead and the Decoys films to television hosting, and she has trained professionally in yoga and studied nutrition, which tells me she values her own path over chasing the spotlight. I read her less as a household name and more as a steady, self-directed working artist who built a career on her own terms, and I find that quietly admirable.
