What impresses me is not just the technical command of switching between guttural growls and soaring clean vocals, but the sheer presence she brings to a genre still too often treated as a boys' club. Fronting Arch Enemy and now lending her voice to DragonForce, she keeps expanding her range rather than coasting. I admire performers who refuse to be boxed in, and her blue-haired defiance feels like a statement as much as a sound. She is genuinely singular.
