Andrew Stevens

Andrew Stevens interests me because he didn't stay boxed into one job. He started as an actor out of Memphis, then moved behind the camera as a director, producer, screenwriter and executive. That kind of full-spectrum career, where you keep reinventing where you sit on a film set, is something I respect more than a single breakout role. His mother was the actress Stella Stevens, and the shape of the path is clear: an on-screen performer who built a longer career by learning how movies actually get made. I'd be curious to dig into his producing slate someday.
