My Take
Andrew Strominger represents the kind of intellect that humbles me. Working at the frontier of quantum gravity and string theory at Harvard, contributing to ideas like celestial holography and the SYZ conjecture, he is reaching toward the deepest rules that govern reality itself. The Breakthrough Prize, the Dirac Medal, the Oskar Klein Medal, these are the field's highest honors, and they signal someone genuinely reshaping how we understand the universe. I cannot pretend to follow the mathematics, but I deeply respect the audacity of trying to map a cosmos no one can see. People like him expand the boundary of human knowledge, and that earns my profound admiration.
