April Stewart

April Stewart fascinates me as an unsung architect of a show I love. Voicing many of South Park's female characters, she helps shape the tone of one of television's sharpest satires while staying invisible to most viewers. That is the quiet craft of voice acting: one performer juggling several roles and carrying scenes the audience credits to the writing. Her range across The Legend of Korra and Minecraft: Story Mode shows real versatility. I have a soft spot for people who build worlds from behind the curtain, and Stewart is exactly that kind of dependable, world-making talent.
