My Take
Bostwick is the kind of actor I treasure: a genuine craftsman who never needed top billing to dominate a scene. People remember him as Brad in Rocky Horror, but the 1977 Tony for Best Actor in a Musical tells you the real foundation is the stage. Then he turned around and stole Spin City as the gloriously clueless mayor. Voice work, comedy, theater, film, television, he moves between them without vanity. I find that range, paired with a willingness to play the lovable straight man or the buffoon, far more impressive than star power. Longevity like his is earned.
