My Take
Brad Armstrong, born Rod Hopkins in Toronto, is a figure I find fascinating purely as a craftsman. Nicknamed the "Spielberg of skin directors" and a 2004 AVN Hall of Fame inductee, he never settled for just performing. He directs, writes, designs costumes and production, essentially shaping entire films from the ground up. Setting the genre aside, that obsessive, multi-hat dedication to building a complete piece of work commands real respect.
