My Take

Bruno Lopes is the kind of footballer whose story I imagine plays out far from the spotlight. A Brazilian striker out of Curitiba in Paraná, listed at 167 cm, he's on the smaller side for a forward, which usually means a player who relies on movement, timing and finishing instinct rather than physical dominance. I don't have his full club history in front of me, so I won't pretend to know every chapter, but Brazil produces so many talented strikers that simply making a living in the pro game is an achievement.
