My Take
Candace Parker is, for my money, one of the most complete players the women's game has ever produced. At 193 cm she could have leaned on size alone, but what impresses me is the all-around skill, the passing and shooting that made her far more than a post player. The first overall pick in 2008 and a Wooden Award winner, she set a standard others still chase. I also admire how she carried that excellence beyond the court into broadcasting and acting. People who master one world and then bravely step into the next always earn my respect.
