My Take

Cecilia Attias interests me less as a model and more as someone who sat at the center of French political life. She was married to Nicolas Sarkozy and was, however briefly, the wife of a sitting French president in 2007 before they divorced. I think of her as a figure who navigated that whirlwind on her own terms rather than fading into a ceremonial role.
