Chihiro Suzuki

Chihiro Suzuki does what fighters are usually warned against: he competes seriously in two sports at once. Kickboxing and mixed martial arts reward different instincts, because the moment takedowns exist the distance changes entirely, so most people pick a lane. Suzuki held the KNOCK OUT Black super lightweight title, has been ranked among the world's better super featherweight kickboxers, and went on to win the Rizin featherweight title in the cage. What I like is less the resume than the temperament under it. He fights forward. There is no sign of a man interested in winning narrow decisions. He lost that Rizin belt on New Year's Eve 2024, but I expect him back the same way he left, moving toward the other guy.
