My Take

Daniel Ghiță is a fighter whose career arc I find compelling. At 195 cm, he was a genuine heavyweight force, the former It's Showtime champion and a Glory standout who reached the final of the Heavyweight Grand Slam. What I respect most is the pivot afterward. Plenty of fighters struggle to find a second act, but Ghiță moved into Romanian politics and has served in the Chamber of Deputies since December 2020. Trading the ring for the legislature takes a different kind of nerve. To me he's proof that the discipline forged in combat sport can transfer somewhere unexpected.
