My Take
What I admire about Daniel Ings is his range hiding in plain sight. He can play the loose, charming friend in Lovesick and then turn around and bring real menace to The Gentlemen, all without ever begging for the spotlight. To me he is the kind of actor productions quietly rely on, the one who makes a scene work without you noticing the effort. With A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on the way, I suspect a lot more people are about to discover what casting directors already knew. He feels like a performer still climbing, and that is exactly when I find an actor most interesting to follow.
