My Take
What fascinates me about David Garrett is how comfortably he straddles two worlds that usually guard their borders. A classically trained violinist from Aachen who picked up both an Echo Klassik and pop awards, he treats the line between concert hall and rock stage as something to dissolve rather than respect. I find that refreshing. Plenty of crossover artists feel like marketing exercises, but Garrett's range reads as genuine curiosity backed by serious technique. Add the modeling and the German state honor, and you get a performer who refuses easy categorization. He is the kind of artist I quietly root for.
