Dayu Koume

White paint, a kimono, a strangled falsetto, and a punchline that lands like a dropped plate. Born in Suginami, Tokyo in 1972. What interests me is not the television breakout but the years after it: he kept posting a new gag online every single day, and the reliable failure became the act itself. Most performers quit when the laughs stop. He made not stopping the point.
