My Take

Denis Gojko is the sort of player I instinctively want to cheer for. A right winger from Gliwice, born in 1998, he's currently plying his trade in Poland's lower divisions, a world away from top-flight glamour. To me, that's exactly where football's purest mischief survives: a young wide man still backing himself to take defenders on for crowds that may never grow. Silesia's tough industrial roots feel fitting for that hardscrabble grind. Plenty of those matches go unrewarded, but the image of him sharpening his footwork and driving forward genuinely moves me. I hope he eventually breaks through to a bigger stage.
