My Take
Devon White, or Devo, is the kind of player I geek out over because his greatness lived in the field, not the box score. A Jamaican-born center fielder out of Kingston, he turned defense into an art across the Angels, Blue Jays, Marlins and more. His Gold Gloves weren't decoration, they were the whole identity. I have a soft spot for athletes whose value resists easy stats, and White is the prototype: the guy whose catch you remember decades later even if you can't recall his batting average. Defensive wizards rarely get their due, and he deserves more of it.
