My Take

Dylan Wang absolutely owns the C-drama space in a way very few actors his age manage to pull off. I first noticed him in Meteor Garden (2018) where he played the brooding rich-boy Daoming Si — a role that had been iconic since the Taiwanese original, and honestly I expected him to drown under the comparison. He didn't. He brought enough raw charisma to make the character feel fresh, and that launched him into serious stardom almost overnight. Then Love Between Fairy and Devil (2022) happened, and the guy just leveled up entirely — the chemistry, the comedic timing, the dramatic weight, all there. Born in 1998 and already carrying major productions with ease, Dylan Wang is the kind of talent you keep tabs on because you can tell he's still nowhere near his ceiling.
