My Take
What I admire most about Elizabeth Banks is her refusal to stay in one lane. Plenty of actors are funny; few can steal scenes in raunchy comedies, then turn Effie Trinket into something genuinely human under all that costume, then walk behind the camera and break box-office records with a directorial debut. The Ivy League polish never gets in the way of her willingness to look ridiculous, which I think is the rarest kind of confidence in Hollywood. Even her Razzie feels like proof she takes real swings. To me, Banks is the model of a modern multi-hyphenate: ambitious, self-aware, and never precious about it.
