My Take
Emma Bell is a familiar face to horror and genre fans, and she's reliably good at playing characters you instantly root for. Her early arc as Amy on The Walking Dead delivered one of the show's first truly gutting deaths, and she sold it completely. She's also at the center of Frozen, the chairlift survival film, which is a far better and more terrifying movie than its premise suggests. I think she's never quite gotten the breakout vehicle she deserves, but she brings genuine vulnerability and warmth to roles that could easily feel disposable.
