My Take
George Pérez is, in my eyes, one of the true masters of comic-book art. A Puerto Rican kid from the South Bronx, he rose at Marvel penciling Fantastic Four and The Avengers, then helped define DC's modern era with The New Teen Titans. What stuns me is his density: he could cram dozens of heroes into a single panel and still keep it readable, a feat that borders on obsession. His Eisner Hall of Fame induction was inevitable. He passed in 2022, yet the sprawling ensembles born from his pencil still live in fans' memories. I would honestly love to own a single page of his original art.
