My Take
Okay, I love Matsuko Deluxe and I'm not even sorry about it. He'll roast you with a smile, drop some scorching unfiltered opinion on live TV, and then sneak in a line so tender it knocks the wind out of you, all in the same breath. That's the trick, right? He came up as a columnist, so the man can clearly think on his feet and write circles around most people, and you feel that razor brain in every aside. What gets me is how blunt he is yet basically everybody adores him anyway, which only happens when there's real warmth under the sharp tongue. And honestly, watching "Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai," you start out just hanging out and somehow end up weirdly informed about something you never knew you cared about. He's one of a kind.
